School services

Public speech therapy services for school aged children are provided through the DEECD (Department of Education & Early Childhood Development) or Catholic Education Office. These are organised through request to the school that the child attends.

Private Services

Private speech therapy can be accessed via a Chronic Disease Management Plan (GP).

Previous funding through both the Helping Children With Autism package (FAHCSIA funding) or the Better Start for Children with Disabilities package is now covered through the NDIS (see above).
